In this exclusive chat, JUST B reflects on its growth, teases exciting future plans, and shares its heartfelt message for ONLY B.
JUST B, a six-member K-pop group composed of Geonu, Bain, Lim Jimin, Siwoo, DY, and Sangwoo, has been capturing hearts since their debut on June 30, 2021, with the mini album Just Burn. Known for their dynamic performances and emotionally resonant tracks, they’ve built an impressive discography, including mini albums like Just Begun (2022), =(Neun) (2022), and ÷(Nanugi) (2023). The group has also released standout singles such as “Still I Luv You” (2025) and English tracks like “Daddy’s Girl” (2024), showcasing their artistic versatility and international appeal. From heartwarming collaborations like “Just Be With You Part.1” with AleXa to their OST contribution “Paradise” for CEO-dol Mart, JUST B consistently proves their ability to connect with fans through diverse music projects.
Their rise has also been marked by global performances, including their North and South America Tour in 2024, a Canada tour in 2022, and appearances at major events such as KCON LA 2023 and Weverse Con Festival 2024. They further showcased their talents on the Mnet survival show Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace as part of the project group The CrewOne alongside ATBO. With their recently announced 2025 U.S. tour in partnership with The K-STAGE, excitement for JUST B continues to grow as fans eagerly anticipate what’s next for this powerhouse group.

I had the incredible opportunity to speak with JUST B for an exclusive interview. In this conversation, the members reflect on their journey so far, share insights into their creative process, and discuss what fans can expect from their upcoming creative endeavors. Let’s dive into the world of JUST B and get to know the talented individuals behind the music.
Hello, JUST B, it’s nice to see you again! It’s been a year and a half since we last spoke, and so much has happened since then! What’s been the most memorable moment for JUST B over the past year and a half?
LIM JIMIN: I think the ‘2024 JUST B 1st Fanmeeting <READY, BURN> in SEOUL,’ held in January 2024, is the most memorable. It felt even more special because it occurred at the start of the year, symbolizing the beginning of JUST B. I also performed while genuinely enjoying the moment with my fans.

How does “i still luv u” differ from your previous releases, both musically and thematically?
DY: I think this release differs from the previous ones because it reflects my tastes and emotions. It’s a song I wrote, so it features my favorite melody and lyrics. I'm really thankful to the members for liking the song and pulling it so well.
Looking back at your earlier releases, how would you say your creative voice has evolved to where it is today?
LIM JIMIN: I think I was able to grow more because I embraced my husky voice and tried to express myself without hiding it.

You’ve recently mentioned having more creative control over your music and projects. What has been the most exciting or challenging part of taking the reins, and has this freedom opened up opportunities for you to explore new roles like directing, choreographing, or designing?
DY: I believe it's better to create and showcase results through our own strength and effort rather than simply presenting what others have made on stage. That's why we focus on creating songs and stages with our own efforts. As a result, I don't blame anyone for the outcome and feel a strong sense of responsibility. Since this is a creative field, I can't focus on just one aspect—I consider both the music and the stage design.
As you gain more creative control, how do you balance your individual styles and ideas to create a cohesive group identity?
GEONU: Easy. I don't focus on my own style when considering our team's identity. First, I think about our team's characteristics. Second, I consider how attractively it will stand out in the industry. These are the most important factors in building our identity.

Is there a particular area—like music, choreography, or visuals—where you’re most excited to showcase your skills or talent?
SIWOO: Lately, I’ve become very interested in acting. I want to showcase my warm tone and emotional expression.
You’ve explored many genres already. Are there any new genres or concepts you’re excited to experiment with in the future? Or maybe one, like rock, that you’d want to explore even more?
Bain: I want to explore various genres like R&B and hyperpop, and experiment with bold concepts. I aim to experience different styles and share music that truly expresses JUST B's emotions and unique vibe with our fans.
Did being on Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace inspire any ideas or ambitions for your upcoming projects or performances?
GEONU: Yes, it was helpful in some areas. After the show, our members had the chance to become more mature and solidify as a team through deep conversations. It also sparked a stronger desire in us to show ourselves to the world as JUST B.

For your second US tour, you’ve shared that you’ll have more creative control. What fresh ideas or elements are you excited to bring to this tour?
Bain: It might be a spoiler, so I can't share the details, but I want to create a stage where we can interact with our fans. In this second US tour, JUST B's input has been incorporated more than in the previous tour, so I believe it will be a fun experience not just for JUST B on stage but also for the fans watching.
Reflecting on your first US tour, what moments stood out the most, and how have those experiences shaped your plans for this one?
SANGWOO: The first US tour was fun, but I still have a lot of regrets. So, this time, I'm preparing with my past experiences (in mind) to create a stage that won't let anyone down.

If you could tease or spoil one thing about the upcoming tour for fans, what would it be?
SIWOO: It's gonna be different from the last time.
Beyond performing, is there anything you’re particularly looking forward to experiencing or exploring during your second US tour?
SANGWOO: If I have a separate vacation outside of the performance time, I'd like to spend time with the members. For this tour, I also want to connect with the fans a little more closely and for a longer time.

Lastly, please leave a message for your ONLY B reading this.
