From epic performances to a historic personal revelation, JUST B takes us behind the scenes of the 'JUST ODD' tour in an exclusive interview.
Since their debut with 'JUST BURN' in 2021, JUST B—comprised of members LIM, JIMIN, GEONU, Bain, SIWOO, DY, and SANGWOO—has steadily carved out a name for themselves with a fierce dedication to performance and self-expression. Known for their dynamic musical growth across mini albums like 'JUST BEGUN,' '= (NEUN),' '÷ (NANUGI),' and their latest, 'JUST ODD,' the group brings emotional depth and a signature intensity to every release. Every mini album demands to be played on repeat, with each track feeling intentional and purpose-driven, showcasing JUST B's evolving identity. Their powerful vocals, immersive soundscapes, and bold concepts consistently captivate listeners, making each track feel like a statement. Along with single digital singles, “Tasty,” “Daddy’s Girl,” and “Still I Luv You” carry the same addictive energy, solidifying their presence as a group unafraid to push boundaries.

JUST B first captured our attention at KCON LA 2023's 'Showcase: Nice to Meet U,' where their electrifying stage presence and crystal-clear vocals left a lasting impression. Offstage, their approachable charm and genuine interactions with ONLY B at the convention booth further deepened the bond with their fandom. Every time JUST B steps onto a stage, they don't just perform—they own it. Time and again, they've proven they deserve the spotlight, consistently showcasing their readiness to take on any challenge and deliver an unforgettable experience, no matter where they are.
Following the momentum of their '2024 North & South America Tour, the group recently wrapped their ambitious 2025 JUST B WORLD TOUR [JUST ODD], which spanned ten cities across the U.S. from Toronto to Los Angeles. In an emotional and history-making finale, Bain courageously came out as gay during the final stop, receiving an outpouring of support from fans (at the event and online) and heartfelt encouragement from his members. In this exclusive interview, JUST B reflects on the unforgettable journey of the 'JUST ODD’ tour, the moments that moved them, and what it means to keep growing alongside ONLY B.
First off, congratulations on an amazing second tour, the “JUST ODD” World Tour. Now that you’ve had a little time to reflect, what does this experience mean to you?
LIM JIMIN: Thank you. The ‘JUST ODD’ World Tour was truly a meaningful time for us. Personally, meeting fans in person and connecting with them on stage gave me so much energy and helped me grow as an artist. As a team, it was a time that made us stronger and brought us closer together. Seeing the passionate support from fans in every city was unforgettable. It gave us the strength to keep moving forward.

Touring across the U.S. is exciting but can also be physically tough. How did you push through without becoming injured or ill, and what helped you stay motivated on the harder days?
GEONU: I focused on staying in good condition by drinking plenty of water, taking daily vitamin C, and using patches and a massage gun before bed to relax my muscles.
What helped me stay motivated during tough times was consistently engaging in business networking to gain recognition for my value and secure future opportunities. I also stuck to a routine of setting and achieving small goals, rewarding myself once I accomplished them.
While on tour together, JUST B must create a lot of memories. Can you share a funny or unexpected behind-the-scenes moment?
SIWOO: To be honest, this tour was so busy that I don’t have many memories outside of the stage. Most of what I remember is related to our performances. One moment that stands out, in particular, is right after my solo stage. It was Bain’s turn next, but he was so flustered that he went out without his microphone. I still clearly remember how surprised Bain and the staff were because of that!

When you think about JUST B’s growth this year — musically, emotionally, and as a team — what are you most proud of?
SANGWOO: Each of us has grown a lot off stage, and it’s so rewarding to see that growth reflected on stage as well.
What lesson(s) from the “JUST ODD” tour will you carry into the next chapter of JUST B?
Bain: The ‘JUST ODD’ tour really made us question, “How honest can we be on stage?” With each show, looking into our fans' eyes, I realized that sincerity always comes through. That’s something I want to carry into the next chapter of JUST B — to be more raw, more honest, and unapologetically ourselves. Musically and performance-wise, we aim to keep pushing boundaries, embracing our “oddness” instead of hiding it, and turning it into our strength.

With the recent shift of JUST B taking on more responsibility to do things their way and exploration of rock elements in your music, how do you see your sound evolving in future projects?
DY: We started taking more responsibility and creative control over our music because we wanted to show that JUST B is not just a group performing what’s been made for us. We are artists who create and express who we truly are. Introducing rock elements felt like a natural step because they carry the energy and sincerity we’ve always wanted to share.
Going forward, I believe JUST B’s music will continue to evolve in a more honest and bold direction. Whether the changes are big or small, or even if we explore different genres, we’re not afraid. Our goal remains the same: to tell real stories, no matter what genre we dive into.
How has touring together strengthened your bond as a group, both on and off the stage?
SIWOO: While touring together, we ended up spending much more time with each other than usual. We ate together every day, traveled together, and shared the stage. Naturally, this allowed us to understand each other better and grow closer. Sharing the same stage and experiencing the same cheers and feeling those moments together definitely deepened our bond as members.
Please share a moment on tour that made you stop and think, “This is why I became an artist.”
DY: During the tour, there was a moment when the crowd started singing along to a song I had written—cheering, crying, and completely immersed in the music. Watching that, I was reminded, “Right, this is why I chose to become a singer.” Seeing how my music could move people’s emotions gave me a renewed sense of courage and purpose.

During the final stop in LA, Bain shared his true self with the fans in a powerful and emotional moment. Bain, what inspired you to open up on that night? And for the rest of JUST B, what was it like witnessing that moment and supporting Bain through it?
BAIN: That night, I was a little nervous before going on stage. I wasn’t sure how people would react. But throughout the tour, I think something inside me had started to change. With each performance, I gained more courage and felt more ready to be honest. In that moment, I felt like I didn’t need to hide anymore. That’s why I was able to show my true self on stage. It became one of the most meaningful moments of my life.
GEONU: Only he can truly understand the struggles he went through, but it felt as though I had experienced those difficult times alongside him. Perhaps that’s why, when he finally overcame everything and came out, I was overwhelmed with emotion—it gave me chills. I also felt a deep sense of pride and admiration for him.
JUST B’s energy on stage is magnetic. How do each of you mentally prepare to perform every other night in different cities and still stay present?
Bain: Honestly, performing every other day can be both physically and mentally exhausting. But the moment I meet our fans’ eyes before stepping on stage, all that tiredness disappears. I try to approach every show with the mindset that “this moment will never come again.” Knowing that a new city and a new audience await us each time — that’s what helps me stay focused and fully immersed. No matter the circumstances, I always want to give my whole heart on stage.
Fans are already missing you and asking when you'll be back. After seeing the love and energy during this tour, are there any hints you can share about what's next for JUST B — and when ONLY B might be able to see you again?
LIM JIMIN: All we want is to work on our new album and start touring again as soon as possible.

Lastly, please leave a message for ONLY B reading this.
LIM JIMIN: We love ONLY B so much, and it’s thanks to your support that we were able to successfully wrap up this tour. We’ll continue bringing you great music to make you even happier. We love you all so much.
GEONU: I believe that each of us has our own unique, emotion-filled story. With the support and love of ONLY B, JUST B will continue moving forward, creating great music and meaningful work that tells our own story. Thank you.
Bain: Thank you so much for always supporting us! Because of you, we’re able to sing on stage with more passion and sincerity. Let’s keep laughing, crying, and making great memories together! We hope our music gives you strength, and we’ll always return the love you give us. We love you!
SIWOO: Hello, ONLY B! This is SIWOO! Through this tour, I’ve learned and felt so much. Above all, I was able to experience truly happy moments on stage thanks to ONLY B. Even with our busy schedule, your support gave me strength, and it made me want to do even better with every performance. Thank you for always being by our side, no matter where or when. I’ll continue to show you even better sides of myself in return. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I love you, ONLY B.
DY: To everyone reading this—thank you for walking this journey with us. Your support isn’t just noise in the crowd (background noise); it’s the driving force for why we keep going, keep growing, and keep believing. We’re not perfect, but we’re real, and every step we take is for you. I hope our music can be a small light in your day, just like you’ve been a huge light in ours. Let’s keep writing this story together.
SANGWOO: Now that the tour has come to an end, I feel like a lot of people are already missing us, and I miss you all too. I've made so many unforgettable memories with all of you during this tour. But don't worry—we'll be back soon with more fun and exciting moments!
