The concept clearly and brightly displays my positive and vibrant energy.
팬들이 'GOOD MORNING'을 듣고 어떤 메시지나 느낌을 받았으면 좋겠나요? (What message or feeling do you hope fans take away after listening to ‘GOOD MORNING?’)
"GOOD MORNING" 가사의 전체적인 의미처럼 어제 걱정과 고민거리는 어제로 넣어두고, 내일은 내일의 해가 뜨니 다같이 굿모닝을 만들어 보자! 라는 느낌을 받았으면 좋겠습니다.
Like the overall meaning of the lyrics of “Good Morning,” leave yesterday’s worries and worries behind, the sun will rise tomorrow, so let's say good morning together! I hope you (fans) get that feeling.
이 미니앨범의 창작 과정에서 컨셉 개발부터 노래 선택과 제작까지 얼마나 관여했나요? How involved were you in the creative process of this mini-album, from concept development to song selection and production?
이번 앨범은 더 신중하고 애착이 많이 가게 되어 여러 방면으로 많이 참여했습니다. 우선 가사로 메시지를 전달하는데 집중적으로 많은 의견을 냈던 것 같아요.
First of all, I think a lot of opinions were focused on conveying the message through lyrics. I was more cautious and attached to this album, so I participated a lot in many ways.
이 앨범을 통해, 음악적 예술성의 어떤 측면을 의도적으로 발전시키거나 다르게 선보이고 싶었나요?With this album, what aspects of your musical artistry did you intentionally want to evolve or showcase differently?
예나만의 분위기와 색깔을 보여줌과 동시에 새로운 퍼포먼스나 스타일링 등 시각적으로도 잘 보일 수 있게 변화를 시도하려고 노력했던 거 같습니다.
It shows my unique atmosphere and color, as well as new performances and styling. I think we tried to make changes so that it could be seen better visually.
이번 앨범이 음악적 스타일이나 가사적 주제 면에서 이전 작업과 어떻게 다른지 어떻게 생각하시나요? How do you think this album differs from your previous works in terms of its musical style or lyrical themes?
자전적인 얘기를 많이 담으려고 했던 거 같습니다. 내가 느끼는 감정들과 생각들을 이번 앨범에 수록된 곡들로 솔직하게 풀어내려고 했던 것 같아요.
I tried to include a lot of autobiographical stories. I think I honestly expressed my feelings and thoughts through the songs included in this album.
굿모닝을 만들면서 가장 기억에 남는 순간이나 인상 깊었던 순간이 있나요? Are there any memorable or impactful moments from the making of GOOD MORNING that stand out to you?
녹음실에서 타이틀 곡 ‘Good Morning’을 녹음할 때, 떼창 부분을 좀 더 다이나믹하고 파이팅 넘치게 들릴 수 있게 많은 분들이 불러줬으면 좋겠다고 생각했는데요. 제 녹음 다음 순서가 템페스트 분들이어서 떼창 부분을 부탁을 드렸더니 너무 흔쾌히 들어주셔서 다같이 떼창 부분을 녹음을 했던 순간이 기억이 납니다.
When recording the title track, "GOOD MORNING," in the studio, I thought it would be great if many people sang along to make the chorus part more dynamic and full of fighting spirit. My turn to record came after TEMPEST, so I asked them to sing the chorus part, and they willingly did. I remember the moment when we all recorded the chorus together.
타이틀곡 뮤직비디오의 스토리나 콘셉트에 대한 스포일러를 좀 공유해주실 수 있나요? Can you share some spoilers about the story or concept of the music video for the title track?
누구나 공감할 수 있는 상황들을 재미있게 풀어서 보여 드리려고 노력을 했던 것 같습니다. 악몽 안에서 악당들을 물리치고 내일의 굿모닝을 맞이하는 전사 예나의 이야기입니다.
I made an effort to present situations that everyone can relate to in a fun way. It's the story of Yena, a warrior who defeats villains in her nightmares and welcomes tomorrow's good morning.
팬들은 종종 아티스트의 개인 경험과 음악 사이의 연결점을 찾곤 해요. 이번 앨범 제작에 영향을 많이 미친 개인적인 경험이나 감정이 있었나요? Fans often look for connections between an artist's personal experiences and their music. Are there any personal experiences or emotions that heavily influenced this album's creation?
저 ‘예나’ 라는 사람이 살면서 느꼈던 다양하고 많은 기억들과 감정들을 쭉 되돌아 보면서 작업 했습니다.
I worked on this while looking back on the many and diverse memories and emotions that I felt in my life.
아티스트로서 'GOOD MORNING'에서 자신만의 스타일을 유지하면서 새로운 사운드나 장르를 실험하는 균형을 어떻게 맞추시나요? As an artist, how do you navigate the balance between maintaining your signature style and experimenting with new sounds or genres in 'GOOD MORNING'?
평소에 나라는 사람에 대해서 많이 생각해요. 모니터하면서도 언제 내가 멋있고, 예쁜지, 매력적인지 나 자신에 대해서 많이 공부하고 관심을 많이 가지려고 하는 편입니다. 그래서인지 앨범 작업을 할 때 늘 항상 신나고 설레는 것 같아요
I often think about myself as a person. Even while monitoring, I tend to study and take a lot of interest in whether I am cool, pretty, or attractive. So, whenever I work on an album, I always feel excited and thrilled.
지난 발매 이후 개인적으로 어떻게 성장했나요? 그리고 그것이 이번 앨범에서 어떻게 반영되었나요? How have you personally grown or evolved since your last release, and how does that reflect in this album?
앨범을 낼 때마다 많은 피드백이 오고 가고, 그 피드백을 수용하여 더 좋은 앨범을 만들려고 노력하는 편입니다. 이번 앨범에서 만큼은 솔직하고 자전적인 얘기들을 풀어나가고 싶어서 더 열심히 작업 했습니다.
With each album release, there is a lot of feedback going back and forth, and I tend to make efforts to create a better album by accepting that feedback. For this album in particular, I worked even harder because I wanted to express honest and autobiographical stories.
라이브 공연을 통해 선보이고 싶은 구체적인 요소나 컨셉이 있나요? Are there any specific elements or concepts you would like to showcase through live performances?
제 앨범들의 노래 중 밴드 장르의 노래들이 많아서 나중에 콘서트를 하게 된다면 꼭 밴드와 함께 무대를 만들어보고 싶습니다.
Since many of my songs are in the band (rock) genre, if I ever have a concert in the future, I really want to create a stage with a band.
세 번째 미니앨범은 여러분의 경력에서 중요한 이정표가 됩니다. 되돌아보면 데뷔 이후 아티스트로서 어떻게 성장했다고 느끼시나요? 그 과정에서 배운 교훈이 있나요? This third mini-album marks a milestone in your career. Looking back, how do you feel you have evolved as an artist since your debut, and what lessons have you learned along the way?
어떤 앨범이든 매번 저에게는 너무 소중하고 값진 작품입니다. 매번 앨범을 낼 때마다 새롭게 배우는 부분들과 나의 새로운 모습을 발견할 때가 많이 있습니다. 그럴 때마다 내가 성장해 가고 있구나 하고 느낄 때가 있습니다. 앞으로도 꾸준히 좋아하는 일을 하면서 행복하게 활동하고 싶습니다.
Every album is incredibly precious and valuable to me. Each time I release an album, I often discover new aspects to learn and find new facets of myself. At those moments, I feel like I'm growing. I want to continue engaging in activities I love steadily and happily in the future.
